Norway server — frequently asked questions

Is Norway part of the Five Eyes or Fourteen Eyes alliance?

Norway is not a member of the Five Eyes (US, UK, CA, AU, NZ) but is included in the Nine Eyes. However, TorSentinel stores no activity logs — meaning there is nothing to share regardless of any data-sharing agreement.

Why Sandefjord and not Oslo?

Sandefjord is a key Norwegian datacenter location with direct fiber routes to Oslo (~5ms) and excellent Nordic peering. It provides the same practical connectivity as Oslo with purpose-built datacenter infrastructure.

Is this server good for Swedish and Danish users?

Yes — expect approximately 30ms from Stockholm and 40ms from Copenhagen. These latencies are well within the threshold for excellent torrent performance.

Does port forwarding work the same way on the Norway server?

Yes. All WireGuard IP configurations on the Norway server include pre-assigned listening ports. The setup process is identical to any other TorSentinel location.
